Jonathan David "J.D." Riggs
Jonathan David "J.D." Riggs, a local actor, singer and athlete, died suddenly at his Wenatchee home April 27. He was 21. J.D. was born in Yakima on September 10, 1990, and was adopted by Dave and Dee Riggs of Wenatchee that November, when he was two months old. From the beginning, J.D. exuded energy and laughter and was a child of many talents and passions.

Local teen generating interest for skate park
Lucas Woods, a 15-year-old, from Nipawin, was at a regular meeting of council April 23, to present council with a skate park presentation. Woods, along with Epidemic Clothing’s Bryan Lowe, are in the beginning stages of planning a concrete skate park for Nipawin.
